FSS Objective

To analyze and develop practical guidance and a strategic roadmap that enables the adoption of secure, scalable health information exchanges among the
Federal Government and private sector healthcare organizations.


	1) The FSS for HIE Work Group is comprised of Federal agencies who share HIE with each other or the private sector, e.g., HHS, ONC, CMS, IHS, NIH, CDC, VA, CDC, SSA, NIST

	2) In 2009 private sector organizations will be invited to collaborate with the FSS WG

	3) The FSS WG will soon be a fully chartered organizations
